FMW
Bradley Cotton has joined the logistics and transportation team at Essex broker FMW, as an account handler.

Cotton has 11 years' insurance experience and joins from Glover & Howe.

ABC Insurance
ABC Insurance has appointed Paul Cowlishaw as head of broker operations.

Cowlishaw will be respon-sible for service delivery and developing and managing ABC's operational infrastructure.

He joins ABC Insurance from AIG, where he was regional business develop-ment manager.

Russell Scanlan
Russell Scanlan has appointed two new directors, Andy Jenkins and Mike Dickinson.

Jenkins joined the company in 2002 and was previously office manager. He will be responsible for operational issues.

Dickinson has been a new business executive with the company since 1999 and will be responsible for business development.

Lockton
Lockton has appointed Kevin Culliney as executive director of its professions division.

The announcement follows the appointment of Neil Nimmo as executive chairman, professions & financial risks and the launch of a new technology and media risks practice, under the leadership of Emily Freeman.

Culliney joins from Howden where he was a board director.

He will be responsible for new business development and client retention across all professional sectors.

Aon
Aon has appointed three new professional risks experts to its Bristol team.

Marco D'Ovidio joins as senior insurance client manager from Higos Insurance Services, where he was senior commercial and professional risks broker.

Jody Sherwood, insurance client manager, also joins from Higos, having been a commercial and professional risks claims technician.

Matthew Baker joins from Castlemead as client manager.

The new team members are responsible for ensuring client retention and developing new business in the region.

Insurer

Chubb
Chubb Insurance has appointed Mark Jordan as claims team manager for the personal lines and accident and health departments.

He will report to Stuart Payne, UK and Ireland property claims manager.

Jordan joins from Allianz Cornhill where he was responsible for the property and casualty commercial underwriting team.

Arista
Arista has announced details of its new Southampton office team, under the direction of regional manager Julian Holloway.

Holloway will be supported by broker development manager Janice Mullan, who has joined from Royal & SunAlliance.

Three senior underwriters Chris Brooks, Gary Chambers and Fiona Badley have also joined the team.

Michelle Collins joins as fleet underwriter with Sharron Keating and Claire Morris becoming underwriters. All three join from AXA.

A further underwriter, Graham Pointer, joins from AE Insurance.

Assurant
Assurant Solutions has promoted John Saint to the role of regional information technology director for Europe.

Saint has led the IT team at Assurant Solutions in the UK for seven years and has an extensive knowledge, both of the insurance and IT industries.

In his new role, he will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of IT infrastructure and policy.

Davies Lavery
Davies Lavery has appointed Carole Chantler as medical relationship manager.

She will work closely with the firm's insurance clients in the development of rehab-ilitation programmes for injured claimants.

Chantler joins from Lyons Davidson solicitors.

Arepa UK
Arepa UK has appointed Guy Langton as operations controller.

His role includes all non-financial aspects of the company's administration, including logistics, workshop management and stock control systems, sourcing and hiring of equipment, marketing and operational support.

ISS Damage Control
ISS Damage Control has appointed Steve Dunn as customer relationship manager for northern England.

Dunn joins from the motorcycle industry, formerly working with Honda Racing Corporation.

First Assist
FirstAssist Services has announced a number of appointments to its board.

Ian Sparks has been appointed managing director and Sir Tim Chessells has been made chairman.

Tim Ablett and Catherine Wall both take up non-executive director roles.
