Monument UKMonument UK has appointed Bruce Copp as account director, specialising in international cover holder business. Copp joined Monument from Robert Fleming. As account director he will focus on building existing and new client relationships, specifically within Monument's international markets.

ATD GeneralCommercial underwriting agency ATD General has appointed Marek Rusinek as branch director of its Leeds office. Rusinek has 25 years' commercial property underwriting experience, having held senior positions with Legal and General, QBE and Colonia Baltica. More recently, Rusinek has been directing the Zurich property underwriting strategy across the UK from Zurich's central offices in Birmingham.

Stuart AlexanderStuart Alexander has appointed Jane Pritchard to head up its Manchester office.Pritchard has more than 20 years' industry experience. She was regional chairman of Biba in 2001 and is an active committee member of the CII in Manchester. In her new role she will be responsible for planning a new phase of expansion for Stuart Alexander.

HSBC Insurance BrokersThe insurance team of Cripps Portfolio has joined HSBC Insurance Brokers.Julie Webb, who heads the team, joins as account executive, estates and private clients division. Webb specialises in fine art and antiques.Other members of the team are David Brown, who has 20 years' industry experience, and Danielle Williams, a trainee broker.

James HallamCity-based broker James Hallam has appointed Andy Swann to the board as finance director and Paul Anscombe as director of business development and marketing. Anscombe was previously a director of Larks.

Heath Lambert GroupHeath Lambert Group has made several senior promotions within three of the group's key operations:Martin Emkes has been promoted to managing director of global business solutions. Emkes has been with Heath Lambert for more than 20 years, developing programmes in the London market for corporate clients.Graham Barr has been appointed chairman of the project risks group. Barr joined Heath Lambert in 2001 as managing director of UK broking. Lindsay Stevenson has been appointed deputy chairman of the project risks group. Stevenson will continue in his role as managing director of Heath Lambert's construction division.Greg Bond has been promoted to managing director of the projects division. Bond was previously executive director of the projects division.Steve Redgwell has been promoted to managing director of UK broking, reporting to Graham Barr. Redgwell has 20 years' experience in the London broking market, the last 17 of which have been with Heath Lambert.

FMWAlex Thake has been appointed as compliance regulations assistant by Chelmsford-based broker FMW.Thake, who has worked for FMW as a senior claims handler for nine years, will now be responsible for rewording FMW summaries of cover in accordance with FSA guidelines.

MarshMarsh has appointed Robert Jones as head of strategy. Jones will report to Marsh chairman and chief executive Ray Groves. Jones will oversee the development and implementation of Marsh's strategic plan. He will also work with corporate and operating management to provide direction and guidance on a range of strategic issues, including acquisitions. Jones has joined Marsh after 27 years with GE, most recently as leader, global business development and services for its Employers Reinsurance Corporation. He also served in planning, business development and marketing and financial positions with various GE Capital units.
