The Broker Network The Broker Network has appointed Richard Croucher as head of marketing. Based in Harrogate his role is to promote the benefits of joining the network and to deliver successful marketing programmes that support members' businesses.Croucher graduated in business studies and marketing in 1993 and has worked in various marketing disciplines within the insurance industry since then. Most recently he concentrated on marketing and business development for Norwich Union Life Strategic Partnerships.

Sagar Sagar Insurances, the east Lancashire insurance broker, has appointed Rob Davis as business development manager and Paul Barrington as personal lines office manager. Davis joins Sagar from Health @ Work, a Merseyside based charity, where he was development officer. Davis was formerly a director at broker Burke Ford. Barrington was previously section head at Carole Nash.

Catlin Group Glenn Campbell, formerly chief financial officer of GE Frankona Reinsurance (UK) in London, has been appointed chief financial officer of Catlin Insurance Company (CICL) in Bermuda.In this new position, Glenn Campbell will have overall responsibility for CICL's financial operations, including the continued development of the finance team as well as development of the operating infrastructure for CICL. He will report to Graham Pewter, president and chief executive officer of CICL.Barry McDonald, a financial executive within the insurance industry for more than 15 years, has been appointed chief investment officer and group treasurer of Catlin Group, the Bermuda-based parent of Catlin Underwriting Agencies , which manages Syndicate 2003 at Lloyd's.In this new position, Barry McDonald will be responsible for overseeing investment policy and treasury operations for the Catlin Group and its subsidiaries. He will report to Chris Stooke, the Catlin Group's chief financial officer.

DWF North West law firm DWF has promoted three solicitors in its Liverpool office to partners, bringing the partnership total to 56 across the firm's Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington offices.Claimant insurance specialist Dave Waring will become a partner in the insurance team. Waring has been with the firm since 1999.

Henmans Solicitors Henmans Solicitors has promoted two solicitors from their departments to partner.Joanna Atkinson is an employment law specialist in the Henmans Thames Valley team and has been promoted to partner.Sarah Foster specialises in professional negligence claims and has been promoted to partner.Katherine Gregory has been promoted to associate solicitor in the professional negligence department.Penny Heighway, who specialises in personal injury claims acting on behalf of insurers, has been promoted to associate in Henmans' personal injury team.

ABS Accident Solutions Adrian Peck has been appointed to the role of sales account manager at ABS Accident Solutions, with responsibility for the fleet sector.He is joining from Vehicle Condition Specialists, an independent vehicle inspection company, where he was involved in operational and business development.Peck's previous experience includes a long spell with the AA, where he was seconded to Motability Finance as an area manager.

Graham High Group Mark Simms has joined the Graham High Group and will head the liability claims handling unit based at the head office in Winchester. Simms formerly worked at Capita McLarens as liability claims team leader. He has over 25 years of experience handling all classes of liability claims, and has specialised in looking after the interests of high profile commercial clients.

Improveline Improveline, the property repairer suppliers, has made two senior appointments.Paul Spencer, former chief executive of Royal & SunAlliance, has joined Improveline as non-executive chairman. Keith Glennister, former commercial director of Turner FM and Reliance Integrated Services, has joined Improveline as business development director with responsibility for expansion of the company's services.

Towergate Stephen Dixon has joined Towergate's professional indemnity (PI) division, Alec Finch Professional Indemnity (AFPI), as director. He has responsibility for development of new client business and insurance market relationships. The role spans AFPI in Manchester and Towergate Professional Indemnity in London. Dixon will work closely with managing director Alan Eyre and divisional director Ian Shaw in London to establish a strategic development programme for the PI division.Dixon was previously a partner of Griffiths and Armour.Towergate has also appointed James McCaffrey as head of sales. He will have responsibility for managing and developing the group's corporate accounts.Towergate has appointed Clive Nathan as regional managing director. Based in Romford, Nathan will be responsible for Towergate's specialist companies in the southern region.
