Groupama Healthcare has confirmed its new management team as the integration of its two healthcare operations begins, following the acquisition of Clinicare in October 2005.

The company announced the appointment of Andy Santoni as pricing and planning manager. Santoni has previously worked at FirstAssist and the former Royal & SunAlliance Healthcare and Assistance business.

Jonty Turner has been appointed to the position of healthcare claims manager and has also previously held senior positions at PPP Healthcare.

Groupama said Lisa Hall will become customer service manager. Hall joined Clinicare in 2005 and played a key role in turning the organisation into a more customer centric business.

Also joining Groupama Healthcare from FirstAssist is Stephen Chaloner who steps into the role of technical controller.

Alistair Sclare, head of healthcare underwriting for Groupama, said: “Groupama Healthcare couldn't have a better management team to develop and grow the business. Each individual brings a solid track record of success and believes as passionately as I do that there is a major opportunity for us in this marketplace.

"Their knowledge and expertise will help us deliver on the initiatives we have planned and provide the service-related alternative that intermediaries have told us they want.

"We now have a strong foundation onto which we will build a market leading healthcare business delivering the highest level of customer care, combined with excellent products that meet today's needs.”
