Jason Bridgman has been named Groupama's new e-commerce manager (bespoke operations).

In his new role, Bridgman will deal with Imarket and SME development under the aegis of Ken Hutchinson, Groupama's e-business trading manager.

Hutchinson welcomed Bridgman's appointment: “This is an important appointment for Groupama. It shows a clear commitment to developing our e-trading business and expertise.

"Jason brings valuable technical knowledge of system capabilities and of how Groupama can best maximise the benefits of e-trading for supporting brokers and intermediaries targeting the SME sector. As such, he will be a key figure in helping us drive forward product availability via Imarket and in our bespoke operations.”

Bridgman said: “Imarket is a valuable business portal that can offer genuine support and added value to marketing and business management strategy, giving brokers the power and flexibility to compete.

"I'm delighted to be working in the e-trading team and specifically on Imarket developments. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an initiative that's bringing a real change to the way in which insurance is transacted.”
