Wondering why some Allianz Cornhill employees and brokers were looking slightly worse for wear at the Biba conference? Well one wag gave Backchat a possible answer, non other than Chris Hanks.
It seems Hanks led the party brigade Wednesday and Thursday, organising a trio of titillating horn blowers to entertain brokers on the first night.
Unflagging, he followed this up the next evening by leading the festivities at the Sugar Lounge, leaving some Allianz employees time to get only an hour's kip before duty called once more.
