Hastings hires customer claims director

Insurance broker Hastings Direct has hired Matthew Stevens (pictured) as customer claims director.

He will report directly to managing director of insurer services Michael Lee.

Stevens spent the last seven years at Bupa Global where he held the roles of head of claims management and head of customer services respectively.

Lee said: “I am delighted to welcome Matthew to Hastings.

“His experience and shared values will play a huge part in making sure we continue to deliver on our aim of providing the most straightforward claims and service experience to our customers.”

Stevens added: “Hastings is an agile and fast moving business with exciting growth plans and I am really looking forward to working with Michael and the team.”
