HBOS General Insurance has appointed Rob Devey as its new managing director.
Devey replaces Howard Posner, who recently stepped down from the role to oversee the insurance and investment strategy for HBOS in Ireland.
Devey joined HBOS in 2002 from Boston Consulting, where he worked on the team that supported the merger of Halifax and BoS.
Deputy chief executive Simon Stevens is set to leave the company at the end of August.
