Lloyds TSB is launching a health product that provides a comprehensive health check every three years.

It includes is a one-to-one consultation, a lifestyle questionnaire, physical examination, urine and blood tests, measurements of body fat and blood pressure, monitoring of heart and lung function and advice on self-examination for men and women.

There are also four optional extras from which customers can choose to individually tailor their policy to suit their lifestyle:

  • physio cover – covering fees for physiotherapy, chiropractic or osteopathic treatment
  • cancer cover –a tax-free lump sum following the diagnosis of certain cancers
  • dental cover – including dental check-ups, treatment and cover for accidental damage to teeth
  • optical cover – covering check-ups, new prescriptions and loss of sight.
