Heath Lambert Group has announced that it is bringing its national claims handling team back to London.
The company said its Brentwood office would close and that discussions were currently being held with staff to determine how many of them wanted to transfer.
This move is in contrast to the trend adopted by many of the group's competitors, including Aon, which has outsourced claims.
However, Heath Lambert group claims director Mike Constanti explained: ”The centralisation of both claims teams into one location makes sense.
"It will provide the opportunity to improve the efficiency of claims handling through the sharing of best practices and expertise across both teams.
"And, crucially, our clients can be confident that we will offer a consistent, speedy and standardised approach in our operations. “
