Helphire has clinched a deal to supply hire cars to DAS policyholders who need replacement vehicles after accidents.
Legal expense insurer DAS has more than three million policyholders.
The hire rates agreed assume DAS will pay the bills within 30 days, but the deal does include a small amount of credit hire. The three-year deal is expected to generate 750 cases a month and will expand Helphire's business by about 15%.
Helphire executive chairman Michael Symons said: "It's significant because it's not subject to a pilot project and we're going straight in at that level of business."
