Pedro is currently the second most-owned player in 2026/27 in Fantasy
Recently, Chelsea manager confirmed that Joao Pedro will be ruled out for “a few weeks” with a thigh injury.

He said: “He has an injury in his thigh and he’s going to be out for a few weeks. Let’s see how many, we don’t want to predict that. But he will not be ready for the next games.
“He is a key player and we will miss him, but we have to be ready to deal with the injury, be competitive and try to win games with the players we have available.”
According to the official Fantasy Football website, Pedro is currently the second most-owned player in 2026/27 in Fantasy, with him also being a a key player for most in the Insurance Times league.
Replacements
So, who could replace Pedro?

Well, some managers in the Insurance Times league have chosen Pedro over Erling Haaland. However, Haaland has struck five goals over the last four gameweeks and despite his 15.8m price tag, he is an obvious choice.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s Alexander Isak (£9.1m) scored three goals in as many appearances, while Aston Villa’s Nicolas Jackson (£6.8m) has secured 30 points across gameweeks five to eight.
Whatever managers decide to do, shakeups to squads are likely and it will be interesting to see how it affects the standings this weekend.
