Nordic insurer If P&C Insurance has appointed Torbjörn Magnusson as its President and chief executive officer with immediate effect. He replaces Bo Ingemarson.

Magnusson, 38, is currently the head of If's small and medium-sized enterprise division.

In a statement, If said one of Magnusson's main priorities would be to integrate If and Sampo P&C's Scandinavian and Finnish businesses.

The two companies completed their merger on 2 January 2002.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
