A new consultancy for the insurance industry has been formed to supply management expertise and problem solving services.

Called FitzGerald Consulting Limited, the company was formed by Bev FitzGerald, Alan Speyer and Gerald Williams.

Its services will include complex claims adjusting, expert witness, mediation, audit, technical claim review, management consultancy, training & education, marketing, and risk management.

Managing director Bev FitzGerald, said: “The company has been formed in response to a specific need for specialist skills provided by people who understand the business and who can be trusted with complex and sensitive issues.

The company said it believed the adjusting and company claims fields had both suffered from a reduction in experienced personnel which the consultancy would go some way to addressing on an individual basis.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
