Seven underwriters have signed up to Intech's Open Xposure risk aggregation product over the past nine months...
Open Xposure is designed to be used with all types of commercial insurance.
Roger Hulett, Intech's London Market sales manager, said: "Following the catastrophic events of last year, it is imperative to underwriting organisations to be able to assess their aggregated exposure to any event both onshore and offshore, from a single fully integrated system. Since 2004, Open Xposure has been providing exactly that."
Currently, 26 clients use Intech's Open Xposure to determine their onshore and offshore exposure to major storms.
