Integrated Service Solutions (ISS) has acquired the UK Rainbow franchise, the biggest player in the residential damage control sector, for an undisclosed sum.
UK Rainbow, licensed by Rainbow International, had a reported turnover of £4.4m in 2002.
ISS claims that the acquisition will strengthen its position in the residential damage control market. UK Rainbow currently has 131 franchises around the country.
ISS Damage Control managing director Rodger Arneil ruled out job losses at UK Rainbow, and confirmed that Melvin Lusty would remain as managing director of the ISS UK Rainbow operation. Arneil also ruled out further ISS expansion in the near future.
