JK Buckenham, the reinsurance broking platform of the Hyperion Insurance Group, today announced the appointment of former Willis director Robin Begg to its property treaty reinsurance capability.
Begg was previously with Willis Faber as executive director of the non-marine treaty team. He was subsequently appointed as managing director of Willis Argentina.
Joanna Buckenham, managing director of JK Buckenham, said: “Robin has a strong reinsurance background, and his wealth of knowledge particularly in non-marine treaty brings new strength to our team.
“His understanding and experience of the Latin American market adds further depth to our capabilities and will allow us to work more closely with Howden's broking operations focused on that region, increasing the level of service we can provide to our clients.”
