Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT) has made a number of changes to its management line up.
Dominic Burke and Mike Hammond will join the board from 1 January.
The company said Burke has also been appointed as group chief operating officer.
JLT said following John Lloyd's retirement from the board of JLT Risk Management Solutions on 31 December he will join Lloyd & Partners as chairman and chief executive with effect from 1 January.
In his capacity as executive chairman, the company said Ken Carter would also act as chairman of JLT's US risk and insurance operations, effective from 1 January.
