Holman Insurance Brokers has revealed plans to target business in Europe with the appointment of Mark Leslie.
The former RAC head of broking has joined the company to concentrate on developing overseas trade. He has spent many years working in the warranty market with UK, pan-European and international programmes.
Leslie has been appointed divisional director of Holman Warranty Services.
Andrew Holman, managing director of the Lloyd's broker, said: “Mark has outstanding expertise and he will be instrumental in enabling us to develop our continental European operations.
“However, there are still huge opportunities for extended warranty business in the UK and we are hoping to be able to announce some major client wins over the next six months.”
