Rating agency Standard & Poor's has reaffirmed its A+ rating of LLoyd's.
Chairman Max Taylor demonstrated that Lloyd's financial strength and attractiveness to capital providers remains undiminished after a period of severe market conditions.
He said: “We are pleased that S&P has recognised the impact of our strong regulatory and risk-based capital systems.
“This year we have launched a drive to raise standards right across the Lloyd's market.”
