Motor sports broker Lockton has developed an online purchasing facility.
The e-commerce portal will allow customers to obtain immediate quotes and make secure payments for Lockton's Off-track product, incorporating cars, karts, quad bikes and motorcycles used in motor sports events while in storage or transit anywhere in the UK and Europe.
Paul Buckle, director of motor sports Insurance at Lockton, said: “While domestic car insurance cover has been available online for some time, motor sports insurance has traditionally been sold over the telephone or by sending a proposal form in the post. As a market leader in this type of insurance we hope that our new web-based service will offer existing and potential customers a more efficient service.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
