Marsh has appointed James Maxwell as a senior vice president within its risk consulting practice.
Maxwell joins from Ernst & Young where he was a director in its financial services risk management practice.
At Marsh, he will be responsible for a portfolio of client relationships, seeking to integrate Marsh's risk consulting service within the wider risk management offering provided by its parent company MMC, with a particular focus on enterprise risk management.
Maxwell said: “It is a great opportunity to be joining the risk consulting practice at a time when the business is growing so rapidly.
"The practice is central to both Marsh's and MMC's overall strategy and I believe that clients will benefit from the broad spectrum of services on offer from MMC companies such as Marsh, Mercer and Kroll.”
