Tim Larden appointed in new role to boost growth.

Moorhouse has created the new role of sales and marketing director and appointed Tim Larden to oversee its "hypergrowth" strategy.

Moorhouse said the new development phase will feature a "group-wide upgrade of Moorhouse’s technology and service offering to brokers and corporate partners. Specifically all systems and quote engines’ functionality will be enhanced, new products added and all communication channels with brokers and corporate partners overhauled."

It added that Xbroker will see technological improvements to the online compare, quote and buy functionality. Enhancements are also planned for the recently launched Moorhouse Brands, which offers larger, established non-insurance and insurance brands a complete package to sell own-brand commercial insurance.

Larden, who joins Moorhouse to oversee these changes, brings experience of partner relations, online trading models and 11 years’ experience of sales and marketing at Endsleigh Insurance. In this role he ran the PR function as company spokesman and was involved at a senior level in sales team, ecommerce, marketing and brand management. In addition to overseeing the implementation of these improvements, Larden will be responsible for developing new income streams to further help achieve the hypergrowth strategy

Moorhouse Chairman Lyndon Wood said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Tim to Moorhouse and his broad range of skills and experience will help deliver a wide range of improvements across the group.

"There is already a huge amount of effort being poured into achieving the aims of our hypergrowth strategy and this will accelerate the group-wide push while providing a first class service to our corporate and broker partners.”
