The Motoring Uninsured Loss Recoveries Association (MULRA) is seeking broker and consumer feedback on the quality of ULR service providers through its new website.

The site, www.mulra.org, is split into broker and motorist sections.

MULRA chairman Paul Hurley said: "It has taken a little longer than we expected to roll out the site as we wanted to provide more than information only. By encouraging feedback on industry issues, and on individual cases, we expect to be alerted to potential difficulties at an earlier stage."

Each section of the website gives information on the safeguards of using a policy provided by a MULRA member. The purpose of ULR policies is set out and the objectives of MULRA explained.

Hyperlinks to member companies' sites and the secretariat are also included. Hurley said: "While MULRA is not a policeman for the industry, nor ever aims to be, there is nowhere else for our agents and policyholders to turn until formal regulation is introduced across the ULR marketplace."
