’I am exciting to be joining a business with such a strong focus on claims excellence,’ says appointee
Addept Insurance Services has appointed Liz Althorpe as its new claims manager.

In her new role, Althorpe will be responsible for strategic and operational oversight of the claims function across Addept’s diverse portfolio of legal expenses and ancillary insurance products.
She will report to Kelly Jarrett, chief finance and operating officer at Addept, and also focus on building the scale and scope of the claims team to meet current and future needs.
During her career, Althorpe has held senior claims management positions such as head of claims SME and personal lines at Gallagher, head of Ipswich claims at Miller Insurance and claims manager at McLarens.
Jarrett said: “Althorpe combines senior leadership experience with a strong technical background in claims operations across brokers, insurance companies and loss adjusters.
”This claims knowledge and understanding will be important in delivering a robust and responsive claims service that meets our needs as we continue to grow our portfolio and distribution footprint.”
Althorpe added: “Addept Insurance has built a strong foundation from which to deliver its portfolio of specialist products.
”Its strategy of delivering customer value by meeting unmet needs and addressing gaps in existing products, relies in no small part on a responsive and professional claims service. I am exciting to be joining a business with such a strong focus on claims excellence.”
