’It is an exciting time to join the team and help to shape the claims operations, ensuring they continue to deliver as we see future product and client growth,’ says appointee

Addept Insurance Services has appointed Lauren Woods as head of claims operations.

In her new role, Woods will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the claims functions across the firm’s portfolio of niche legal expenses and ancillary insurance products.

This includes leading claims innovation initiatives and strengthening supplier performance and panel management frameworks.

Commenting on the appointment, Kelly Jarrett, chief finance and operating officer at Addept Insurance, said: “Woods’ appointment comes at a time of accelerated growth.

“As a business focused on delivering fair value solutions addressing unmet customer needs, a robust and responsive claims service is of clear importance. Woods brings us the operational experience and knowledge and understanding of the ancillary market needed to ensure our claims operations meet the high standards our partners and their customers expect.”

Experience

Woods joins from Arc Legal Group, where she held the position of head of home emergency for nearly three years.

Prior to this, she served as an account manager at motor breakdown provider Call Assist.

Woods said: “Addept Insurance is building a strong business and so it is an exciting time to join the team and help to shape the claims operations, ensuring they continue to deliver as we see future product and client growth.”
