‘Our successful legal expenses launch and the continued growth in new schemes across our wider portfolio has facilitated the expansion of our operational and claims infrastructure,’ says managing director

Addept Insurance Services has appointed Jo Finan as its new operations director.

In her new role, Finan will be responsible for the claims and day-to-day operational functions of the business.

This includes management oversight of the online claims portal for policyholders and driving the procurement and implementation of a back-office claims and contract management system.

Finan brings over 10 years of claims, project and business management experience within the legal expenses and ancillary insurance market to the role and has previously held positions at Axa and Arc Legal Group.

Addept Insurance said her appointment is in response to a period of “accelerated business growth” over the first half of 2025, including a “raft of new schemes, the launch of the first of a suite of legal expenses products, new offices and an expanded operational team based in Colchester”.

Operational expansion

Richard Finan, managing director at Addept Insurance, said: “Our successful legal expenses launch and the continued growth in new schemes across our wider portfolio has facilitated the expansion of our operational and claims infrastructure.

”Finan brings us the experience and knowledge needed to ensure we have the operational systems and procedures in place to deliver the service and outcomes our customers expect now and in the future.”

The new appointee added: “Addept Insurance has proved the concept that challenging the traditional approach and operational processes of traditional market providers can deliver results.

”I am excited to be able to support our continual growth and expansion by ensuring our operations are both robust and responsive to the needs of the business, our partners and their customers.”
