The promotions support the group’s next phase of growth

Independent broking group Clear has today (13 October 2021) announced a series of promotions to its management team.

Julie Walker, BHIB’s managing director, has been appointed to the BHIB board.

Meanwhile, Julie Rayson-Flynn has joined the main board of Brokerbility as a director. Her day-to-day role includes overall responsibility for the network, reporting to Clear Group’s board director Ian Stutz.

These positions are both subject to FCA approval.

In August 2021, Clear Group reported £28m of revenue for 2020 as a result of acquisitions that year - including Brokerbility Holdings and Light Indemnity Solutions.

Next phase of growth

Mike Edgeley, group chief executive of the Clear Group, said: “These latest promotions to our senior management team are well deserved and will play an important part in supporting the next phase of our growth strategy.

“The promotions also demonstrate our ongoing commitment of recognising and developing internal talent at all levels across the group.”
