Consumer Intelligence has appointed Ann Constantine as its new managing director, with founder Ian Hughes transitioning to the role of chair.

As managing director, Constantine will lead daily operations, client delivery and commercial performance.
Her focus will be on ensuring insurers have access to intelligence on pricing, consumer behaviour and competitive dynamics.
She takes up the position after joining Consumer Intelligence in October 2023 as chief operating officer. She brings more than 25 years of experience in senior insurance and competitor intelligence.
Constantine said: ”I’ve spent my career helping insurers understand what is really happening in their markets.
”Consumer Intelligence sits at the centre of pricing, consumer behaviour and competitive insight in a way no one else does. I’m proud to lead the business operationally and to ensure we continue evolving in line with our clients’ most pressing challenges.”
Hughes role
Hughes, meanwhile, will now focus on long-term strategy, market engagement and industry leadership as chair.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
