’I’m proud to lead the business operationally and to ensure we continue evolving in line with our clients’ most pressing challenges,’ says appointee

Consumer Intelligence has appointed Ann Constantine as its new managing director, with founder Ian Hughes transitioning to the role of chair.

As managing director, Constantine will lead daily operations, client delivery and commercial performance.

Her focus will be on ensuring insurers have access to intelligence on pricing, consumer behaviour and competitive dynamics.

She takes up the position after joining Consumer Intelligence in October 2023 as chief operating officer. She brings more than 25 years of experience in senior insurance and competitor intelligence.

Constantine said: ”I’ve spent my career helping insurers understand what is really happening in their markets.

”Consumer Intelligence sits at the centre of pricing, consumer behaviour and competitive insight in a way no one else does. I’m proud to lead the business operationally and to ensure we continue evolving in line with our clients’ most pressing challenges.”

Hughes role

Hughes, meanwhile, will now focus on long-term strategy, market engagement and industry leadership as chair.

He said: “Consumer Intelligence was built to bring clarity and confidence to a complex market.

”Constantine understands first-hand the pressures insurers face and the decisions they need to make. Her leadership strengthens our ability to deliver practical, actionable intelligence at exactly the right moment for the industry.”
