Allianz UK has appointed Scott McLoughlin as its new head of intermediary.

McLoughlin will be responsible for developing business with mortgage intermediaries, brokers and financial advisors.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry and was most recently national sales manager at LV= General Insurance. He previously worked at Legal and General, as well as Homeserve.
Speaking about his new position, McLoughlin said: “I’m delighted for the opportunity to lead such a talented team that will drive growth in the Allianz intermediary business.
“Together we will focus on strengthening partnerships, enhancing customer experiences and delivering exceptional value.”
‘Well placed’
McLoughlin will report to Sarah Watts, partnerships director at Allianz UK.

Watts said: “We are delighted that McLoughlin will lead Allianz’s intermediary team.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
