’This collaboration enhances our established sports partnerships and underscores our dedication to nurturing the potential of the next generation,’ says chief executive
Allianz has entered into a multiyear global partnership with tennis player Jannik Sinner, appointing the four-time Grand Slam champion as its global brand ambassador.

The partnership, announced on 29 January, sees the insurance brand align with the current world number two men’s singles player. Allianz stated that the collaboration would support social impact initiatives targeting children and young people.
As part of the agreement, Allianz becomes an official partner of Sinner and will feature the Italian athlete in global marketing campaigns under the tagline ‘We’re here to serve’.
The insurer added that a central pillar of the collaboration would be joint projects with The Jannik Sinner Foundation, which was founded in 2025 and focuses on using education and sport to support children’s development.
Sinner said the partnership reflected similarities between elite sport and business, particularly around preparation and teamwork.
“Over the years I have learned that success in sport, as in life, is forged through resilience, preparation and the willingness to push yourself beyond your comfort zone,” he said, adding that he was looking forward to working with Allianz through his foundation.
Deal driver
Allianz highlighted tennis’ global reach as a driver of the deal, noting that the sport had an estimated one billion fans worldwide and was the second most popular sport behind football in many of its core territories.

Oliver Bäte, chief executive at Allianz, said the partnership was built on the group’s established presence in global sport and reflected its broader purpose.
“At Allianz, trust is at the heart of our mission to empower individuals and organisations for a brighter future,” Bäte said.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Sinner, whose values of authenticity, resilience and excellence mirror our own. This collaboration enhances our established sports partnerships and underscores our dedication to nurturing the potential of the next generation.”
