‘Our role is to help partners turn genuine customer needs into insurance products that work,’ says chief executive
MGA Elevate Speciality has partnered with property lettings software platform Goodlord to launch two new landlord-focused protection products, Insurance Times can reveal.

The partnership will see the new offerings – landlord legal protection and rent guarantee insurance – distributed via embedded journeys on the Goodlord platform, alongside its existing guarantor and tenant income protection propositions.
The product launches follow the introduction of a new tenancy and possession framework under the Renters’ Rights Act 2025, which among other guidelines banned no-fault evictions, more tightly regulated rent increases and introduced a private landlord database.
The firm added that the proposition had been designed around “early intervention, mediation and resolution”, rather than waiting for disputes to escalate into litigation.
Rush of products
Mickey Attia, chief executive at Elevate Specialty, told Insurance Times: “Rental reform has prompted a rush of products described as reform ready, but changing limits or wording is not the same as redesigning the model.

“Traditional legal expenses still too often follows the same sequence – wait for the problem to deepen, assess the claim and then fund litigation. We’ve built the opposite – platform data, early intervention, mediation, rent protection and legal support operating as one connected journey.”
He continued: “It’s been live and delivering for over nine months, it’s not a future roadmap. Others are adapting products to the act – we have rebuilt the operating model around the outcome.
“Our role is to help partners turn genuine customer needs into insurance products that work. We bring the product design, underwriting, claims capability and capacity model together, then integrate it into the partner’s customer journey.
“Goodlord, like many of our partners, shares our belief that insurance should solve real customer problems. It is exactly the kind of partnership Elevate was built for – significant scale, genuine customer need and a shared ambition to deliver better outcomes.”
