’His depth of market knowledge and extensive experience across distribution and technology will help accelerate our ambition to become the best commercial lines insurer in the UK,’ says commercial lines managing director
Intact Insurance has appointed Fraser Edmond as vice president for commercial sales, distribution and marketing.

The newly created role forms part of the insurer’s growing focus on commercial trading and will see Edmond report to commercial lines managing director Tovah Grosscurth.
The appointment follows a recent restructuring of Intact’s regional trading operations into four areas covering Scotland, the north, the south and the Midlands and west.
Grosscurth said: “Broker relationships are critical to our success.
“By strengthening our regional leadership team, we are better placed to deliver consistent market-leading broker service.”
Experience
Edmond joins Intact from Broker Insights, the commercial insurance data platform he founded and led as president. During the past two years he has focused on the firm’s expansion in the US market.
