Peter Farrelly has announced that he is leaving Sedgwick after 11 years with the business.

Farrelly joined the loss adjuster in 2015 as head of speciality before becoming the manging director for UK commercial claims services in 2019.
He was then promoted to chief operating officer in 2024, a role he has held for the last two years.
Announcing his departure on LinkedIn, Farrelly said: ”After 11 incredible years, I’m leaving Sedgwick. It has been a privilege to lead 2,400 colleagues in my role as COO, with many fantastic experiences along the way.
“Thank you to everyone at Sedgwick for the support and shared success. Now for the next chapter.”
It is not clear what Farrelly’s next role will be.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
