The appointees’ ‘skills and experience perfectly complement that of our existing board members’, says chief executive

MGA Iprism has promoted two employees as part of its latest c-suite revamp, revealed a statement released today (1 November 2023).

Aaron Woodhams has been promoted to the role of chief underwriting officer and will take up a position on the MGA’s board.

Bradley Harmer has also been promoted to chief commercial officer.

“Over the past year, we have grown significantly as a business, both organically and via acquisition,” said Iprism chief executive Ian Lloyd.

“As we look to the future, it’s important that we have a robust executive team who can lead the business with confidence and expertise.”

Appointee background

Iprism first hired Woodhams in December 2019 as underwriting manager and since June 2021 he has served as head of underwriting.

Prior to joining the MGA, Woodhams served in underwriting roles at Arch Insurance Europe, Axiom Underwriting Agency and Allianz Insurance.

Meanwhile, Harmer joined Iprism in March 2015 as business development manager.

Whilst at the MGA, he has served as corporate account manager, sales manager and head of sales and business development.

According to Companies House, Harmer was also appointed as a director of the business on 23 October 2023.

He will join Woodham on the MGA’s board alongside chief finance officer Manuela Roncalli and chief information officer Raj Bosamia as part of the move.

Lloyd said that Woodhams’ and Harmer’s “skills and experience perfectly complement that of our existing board members and I’m proud to bring them into these newly created roles”.

“The future is extremely bright for Iprism and I’m confident we have the right team in place to achieve our ambitions,” he added.
