’I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together,’ says departing boss
Sean Byrne, managing director at insurance broker Got You Covered, has confirmed he is leaving the business.
In a LinkedIn post, Byrne said that he would depart the non-standard motor broker at the start of December.
Byrne, who took up his position with the firm in 2022, said that it had ”been a real privilege to work alongside such a talented, passionate and committed team of people”.
”I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone across the business for their support, energy and collaboration and to the executive team for the shared drive and focus that’s helped Got You Covered continue to grow and evolve,” he continued.
“A particular thank you to chief executive Rob Leigh, who’s support, leadership and trust have meant a great deal to me along the way.
”I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together – and I will be watching on with genuine excitement to see where Got You Covered goes next.”
Byrne also hinted that he would be taking up another role soon, with him adding: “As for me… watch this space — I’ll be back in the market soon with an exciting new project!”
His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
