MGA says proposed changes will impact approximately 80 roles across the business as it continues to evolve its operating model

Markerstudy has confirmed that approximately 80 roles across the group will be affected as part of a business simplification programme.

A Markerstudy spokesperson said: “As Markerstudy continues to evolve its operating model, we confirm that we are undertaking a business simplification programme, which will affect approximately 80 roles across the group.

“We recognise this is a difficult time for those affected and our priority is providing support to colleagues throughout the process.”

The company has not disclosed which functions will be affected, whether consultations are under way, or whether the changes will result in redundancies.

Limited detail on restructuring plans

Markerstudy declined to provide additional information on the rationale behind the programme or the specific business areas involved.

It is also unclear whether the changes will affect customer-facing operations, claims functions or back-office teams.

The latest announcement represents one of the most significant workforce updates from Markerstudy in recent months, although the company has not indicated whether further organisational changes are planned.
