’Its service offering and client base are closely aligned with our own, enhancing the breadth of services we can provide to clients both through our legal practice and as part of the wider QuestGates group,’ says managing director
QuestGates-owned QGLaw has acquired specialist law firm Miles Fanning Legal.

Based in London, Miles Fanning Legal delivers a wide range of legal services to the insurance sector.
The acquisition aligns closely with QuestGates’ strategy of providing specialist, end-to-end propositions across claims management, loss adjusting, legal and building consultancy services.
Chris Hall, group executive chairman at QuestGates, said: “Miles Fanning Legal is a strong strategic and cultural fit for QGLaw and the wider QuestGates group.
”Its expertise, reputation and niche focus complement our expanding legally enhanced services and further strengthens our ability to meet client needs. As we look further ahead into 2026 and beyond, we are excited to continue investing in and strengthening our rapidly growing QGLaw team, while delivering additional value and support to our clients.”

This will be accompanied by further acquisitions as it continues to expand its services and expertise across the UK and Ireland.
Mark Fanning, managing director at Miles Fanning Legal, said: “We are excited to be joining forces with QGLaw and the wider QuestGates group at such an interesting time in their own journey.
”After almost a decade of trading as a standalone business, this felt like the right time to take that natural next step, opening up new opportunities for our team and allowing us to enhance our service offering for clients, whilst continuing to focus on providing a high quality service and the personal approach that we are known for.”
