’By leveraging technology, we can progress cases faster, develop the next generation of adjusters whilst strengthening our surge capability with robust back-office support and additional capacity when needed,’ says chief operating officer

QuestGates has expanded its flexible claims handling Vector programme with the launch of a new loss adjusting pathway.

Building on a model introduced 18 months ago, the next phase will substantially increase both capacity and capability within Vector.

The expansion will enable the loss adjusting firm to handle suitable lower complexity claims faster and more flexibly through advanced video technology, delivering superior customer experiences while enhancing operational agility and surge readiness across the business.

Colin Ganson, chief operating officer at QuestGates, said: “Vector has proven to be a gamechanger, allowing us to support customers and clients more effectively on the right claims.

“By leveraging technology, we can progress cases faster, develop the next generation of adjusters while strengthening our surge capability with robust back-office support and additional capacity when needed.

”This latest development underlines our ongoing commitment to investing in people, technology and innovation, including generative AI, to set new standards in claims excellence.”

Talent development

Operating as a fully functioning claims team rather than a traditional training scheme, the programme combines remote inspections and physical site attendance alongside structured development time.

The firm said that this enables emerging talent to gain hands-on experience while working towards industry recognised qualifications with the additional support of experienced mentors who pass on their skills and expertise to the next wave of professionals.

Steven Campbell, national operations manager for Vector at QuestGates, added: “Vector has been deliberately built around structured talent development, providing emerging claims professionals with real hands-on experience and a clear pathway into loss adjusting.

“It also delivers scalable support during surge events and creates the perfect environment for us to test and embed new innovations that drive the business forward.”
