’I’m excited to be leading Staysure into this new era of transformation,’ says new appointee

Travel insurance firm Staysure Group has appointed Finn Walsh as its new chief executive.

Walsh broke the news in a LinkedIn post today (3 January 2024) and said that he would lead the business “into this new era of transformation” in his new role as the top boss.

As part of this, he said that he would focus on how the firm delivers customer and employee experiences with a holistic, technology enabled and people-centric approach.

“To truly create the insurtech brand of the future, our focus needs to go beyond just customer experience and move to improving the total experience of the company,” Walsh added.

“I’m excited to be leading Staysure into this new era of transformation.”

Experience

Walsh joined Staysure Group in October 2022 as its group chief digital and information officer after spending three years at Hastings Direct.

In October 2023, he was promoted to chief customer and technology officer and took up his new role as top boss at the start of January.

“In the past year, we’ve delivered the foundations for future growth with our digital transformation strategy and we’re excited to take the next steps and launch these to our customers,” Walsh said.
