Insurance Times rounds up the most significant appointments, hires and leadership developments from 26 to 29 May 2026
Following the late May bank holiday, the biggest moves in the market this week included Aon appointing Christian Hoffman as global chief executive of commercial risk, effective 1 June 2026.

Currently serving as the broker’s global specialty and financial products leader and head of M&A for North America, Hoffman’s new position will see him lead its global commercial risk business.
This week also saw Coversure Insurance Services appoint Nabeela Qureshi to lead its new Watford operation.
Jordan Maskell, network director at Coversure, said: ”Her 20 plus years of experience, combined with her natural ability to build trust and rapport with clients, perfectly reflects what modern broking should be about. Just as importantly, her strong ties to the local community in Watford align exactly with our values as a network.”
Next, Previsico, the live flood forecasting insurtech, appointed Mark Trumper as its new chief executive.
Joining from Axco Insurance Information, he will succeed Jonathan Jackson, who is retiring from his full time executive role after leading Previsico through a period of growth and innovation.
Then, insurance broker Lockton appointed Jordane Terrasse to the role of global client advocate, effective 13 July 2026.
Terrasse joins the broker from the London Stock Exchange Group, where she served as head of group insurance and risk transfer. Her industry experience also includes time spent in senior and leadership positions at Aon, Willis and AIG.
