Kelly stepped into the role on 10 July 2023 after it was announced that Michelle Taylor would be joining Aviva as the strategic accounts director for its distribution business in January 2024.

As part of this, she will be responsible for bolstering relationships with strategic partners and delivering on the insurer’s ambitions of securing new opportunities in the market.
“I am thrilled to lead our thriving team and couldn’t be more excited as we continue to expand and broaden our distribution channels, create new partnerships and deepen our existing relationships in the market,” Kelly said.

Senior roles she has held in the business include head of broker proposition and initiatives and most recently head of strategic accounts.
David Nichols, head of retail, said: “I’m incredibly proud to welcome Jacqui to her position on a permanent basis.
“Her role in leading our fantastic sales and distribution team further validates our commitment to nurturing the very best home-grown talent in the market.
“Jacqui’s broad range of experience and persistent drive to deliver for our partners make her the perfect fit for the job.
