Laming will be responsible for managing NIG's growth and service delivery proposition

NIG has appointed Dean Laming as the new regional manager for its Redhill operation.

Laming will be responsible for managing the growth and service delivery proposition NIG offers to its broker partners in Surrey, Dorset and Hampshire.

Formerly operations manager at Redhill for NIG, Laming has also worked for Royal and SunAlliance and Independent Insurance in commercial underwriting and IT roles.

He will report to John Setterfield, area manager (South).

Laming commented: “My priority is to ensure our brokers receive a market-leading service from a truly customer-centric organisation. I’m delighted to take on the Regional Manager role at a time when NIG is so focused on growing the business and really making a difference to our brokers.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
