NIG is adding free motor legal protection cover to its commercial fleet product from the 1 May. The extended cover will apply to both new and existing policies incepted or renewed from this date.
Commenting on the move, NIG's director of commercial, Steve Kingshott, commented: “Providing motor legal protection saves our brokers time in administration and provides NIG fleet policyholders with a value added service at no extra cost. This is another part of our drive to provide our brokers with excellent products.”
Motor legal protection provides a policyholder with cover for up to £100,000 of legal fees which can be used to recover costs and expenses not usually covered by a commercial fleet policy.
