Consolidator can now place business directly into Lloyd’s

Consolidator PIB has become a registered Lloyd’s broker, allowing it to place specialist risks and schemes directly into the Lloyd’s market.

PIB chief executive Brendan McManus said: “PIB is about providing both the highest levels of service and expertise so gaining broker status at Lloyd’s is a great moment for us.

“Our clients will now benefit from access to a unique underwriting market that provides the best insurance knowledge and know how in the world on highly competitive terms.

“We look forward to upholding the standards required of a Lloyd’s broker and continuing to broaden the insurance services we provide.”

Lloyd’s head of broker relationship management Umron Ahmed added: “Lloyd’s welcomes PIB to the market and is delighted that we will be a key business partner for an innovative broker like PIB. We wish them all the best with developing their business in the Lloyd’s market.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
