Commercial underwriter makes three new appointments to focus on regional business

Primary General has appointed three new managing directors to spearhead the company's regional operations.

Former UK sales manager, Andy Jones, will take over operations in the Midlands and the South West while Chris Hoesli has been promoted to regional managing director, North West. The North East team, based in Harrogate, will be headed by Paul Bennett.

Each will be supported by a senior team comprised of underwriting and business development managers.

He added: "In the North East region specifically, the new structure brings critical mass. This provides our brokers with the level of service and contact that they require."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
