Ray Cox has left Royal & SunAlliance to join Brit Insurance in the new role of underwriting director, UK division.
Cox had been with R&SA for 30 years in a variety of positions, including director of UK underwriting and director of commercial underwriting.
Peter Burrows, head of Brit UK Division, said: “Ray brings thirty years of UK retail market experience, strong cross-class technical knowledge and excellent skills in execution. He is a leading market figure and we are delighted to welcome him to Brit Insurance. His appointment underlines our continuing commitment to the development of our business in the UK market.”
