The definitive ranking of the UK’s top general insurers has been released – where has your firm placed?
This month (October 2021), Insurance Times officially launched this year’s Top 50 Insurers rankings, with the full supplement now available to subscribers following a preview glimpse last month.
For 2021, Insurance Times has teamed up with a new data provider – insight service Insurance DataLab – which means that this year’s data also includes insurers based in Gibraltar, as well as takes into account Lloyd’s syndicates.
Listings provide information on gross written premium (GWP), firms’ management, their strategy and broker feedback.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
