Irish Reinsurance Partners (IRP) has appointed Christian Delannes as its chief executive officer.
IRP, which will be up and running by January 2002, is a reinsurance company formed in Dublin by French reinsurer SCOR and a group of private investors.
The company will concentrate on sharing new or renewed business with SCOR for the 2002 underwriting year.
Delannes, a graduate engineer, joined SCOR in 1986. In 1998, he became general manager of SCOR's Australian branch and in April 2000 was appointed vice-president of the Group's development department in Paris.
