The Financial Services Skills Council is to consult on its examination review form 19 March 2004, it announced.
The council said it was seeking views from the industry on the way appropriate exams should be identified, and on the final draft specification for appropriate exams for investment and mortgage advice.
It said the deadline for feedback was 15 April, after which the council will publish the requirements for investment and mortgage advice together with the first version of the list of appropriate examinations.
The council said it was aiming to develop an industry-wide single qualifications framework to reflect the needs of the financial services sector.
A copy of the consultation paper “Assuring the Quality of Appropriate Examinations” will be available for download from fsnto.org.uk from 19 March.
